2010 yenko camaro prototype

The famous Yenko nameplate will be revived at this year's SEMA Show with the introduction of the 2010 Yenko Camaro Prototype by General Marketing Capital Incorporated (GMCI). The performance-tuned model celebrates the 44th anniversary of Don Yenko's Corvair Corsa being officially recognized as a racecar by the SCCA.
This Yenko is based on a 2010 Camaro SS and touts a supercharged and intercooled motor making in the range of 600 hp. It's what GMCI calls the beginning of the "Phase I" package and continues to include a Tremec six-speed manual gearbox, Hurst short throw shifter, six-piston brakes, Magnaflow exhaust, and 22-in billet Yenko wheels.
For the complete look, designers plastered its body with Yenko stripes and emblems, as well as a full leather package with Yenko embossed badges.
GMCI will roll out meaner, more powerful "Phase II" and "Phase III" editions in the months after the SEMA Show.
