Ford Mustang Concepts

The 2010 Ford Mustang could be considered a significant refresh over the outgoing model, but to SEMA tuners, it's a whole new platform from which to derive cool, performance parts.
There are copious amounts of aftermarket companies, as well as Ford itself, adding SEMA flair to the 2010 Mustang.
2010 Steeda Q350 Ford Mustang Front
Steeda Q350
Steeda has been building hopped-up 'Stangs for decades, earning as much credibility on the street as it has on the track. Based on the company's naming conventions, the Q350 is expected to offer 350 to 400 hp. Given the company's record on the track, serious suspension and brake upgrades are expected as well to go along with the custom body work. Steeda promises that while the car will offer more performance, it will still be street-friendly.
3D Carbon Front Three Quarters
Boy Racer Mustang from 3dCarbon
You may remember the name from the last time Ford debuted a new Mustang, their original Boy Racer Mustang based on the now previous-generation car. Known upgrades are all external and include a body kit with massive radiator opening, rear window louvers, a GT500-style hood, a new rear spoiler, big fog lights in the grille, and massive five-spoke wheels wrapped in tiny low-profile tires.
10Mustang Galpin Front And Rear
Galpin Auto Sports Mustang GT Convertible
Starting with a Mustang GT Convertible, the GAS crew added a Ford Racing supercharger good for 550 hp, then wrapped the car in a new widebody kit. Features include big fender flares to cover the requisite giant wheel/tiny tire combo, a new hood, and new front and rear fascias.
2010GT Frnt34 Paulshp Front Three Quarters
Paul's High Performance Mustang
If straight line speed is more your style, Paul's High Performance has the answer. Its Mustang is built to look the NHRA part with a giant cowl-induction hood, equally giant rear spoiler, and standard small front/big rear drag racer wheel/tire combo. If you want everyone to know that you live your life a quarter-mile at a time, this is the 'Stang for you.
Vaughngittinjr Front Three Quarters Motion
Vaughn Gitten Jr. Mustang RTR-C
For those who prefer sideways speed to the straight line kind, may we suggest drift champion Vaughn Gitten Jr.'s Mustang RTR-C? 550-hp and a lightweight carbon-fiber body are sure to make for an unforgettable ride and the menacing black and blue paint over custom body work will make sure you never forget this car. Given its limited production nature, your local cops probably won't forget it either.
H&R Special Springs Mustang
If something more contemporary is what you had in mind, we'll point you to the Mustang built by H&R Special Springs. Two-tone deeply dished wheels, a bulging hood, a new rear spoiler, and subtle LED lighting up front make it clear that this 'Stang is special, but without beating you over the head with it. We're guessing some suspension work will also be included, given the company's name.
Street Scene Equipement 2010 Ford Mustang
Street Scene Equipment 2010 Mustang
Also present but providing the least amount of information of all is Street Scene Equipment. From the provided picture, it's safe to say that they'll be offering a body kit that includes a new front fascia, hood, side vents and quarter windows, but that's all we know for now.
Ford Vehicles Personalization 2010 Ford Mustang
 Ford Vehicles Personalization
Of course, Ford doesn't want to miss out on the fun. After all, the company created a special Web site for building custom 2010 Mustangs to encourage tuners and customizers, so it's only natural the company brought its own car. Drawing inspiration from a number of well-known designers, Ford Vehicles Personalization created this gold-on-black 'Stang with metallic gold graphics, wheels, headlights, and interior trim.
